MER 2 - Elastane roller

Application

The MER 2 is designed for 100% positive yarn infeed of elastane yarns to circular knitting machines. Various equipment versions are available to ensure ease of operation on different circular knitting machines. A single unit can serve up to four knitting systems.
The MER 2 continuously unwinds the cylindrical elastane bobbins onto 2 shafts, so ensuring controlled infeed. The yarn quantity unwound corresponds to the circumferential speed of the shafts.

Cover

We recommend using a cover for MER 2 to prevent cotton lint being deposited on the elastane bobbins.
